Freediving and spearfishing training in Pakistan for international students

Visitors train with the same instructor and the same coast as local students. There is no separate tourist script and no list of invented city packages.

Written by Waqar Khan, founder of Pakistan Spearfishing.

What you can book

A beginner freediving course, a later coaching block, spearfishing skills, or a private day. The course list is on the education page. The coast itself is explained on freediving in Pakistan and spearfishing in Pakistan.

Before you fly

Write with your dates, whether you have freedived before, and whether you want a shore session or a boat day. Karachi is the arrival city. The October to April window is the easier season on this coast.

Bring the personal kit you already trust if you have it. Anything the school provides is named in the reply, not assumed here. Check your visa separately.

Safety for a short visit

A holiday timetable is not a reason to skip steps. Jet lag, a new sea and a wish to “get deep” are a poor combination. Waqar will keep the first dives short if that is what the person in front of him needs.

Questions

How long should I stay?
A single coastal day is possible. A real beginner course needs more than one session. Waqar will say how many days fit your goal.
Do you train groups from one club?
Yes, if you send the number of people and how much water experience they have.
Which page explains the trip itself?
Use the diving trips page for season, spots and what is not included until it is confirmed.
